Fremont Hotel
Chicago, Illinois
A new 127,000 square foot boutique design hotel in Chicago. A facility for 200 neo-luxe rooms, 18,000 square feet of public space and private gardens. A Leed design, composed with building materials and industrial components reclaimed from the knitting factory that once occupied the site.
The hotel public spaces incorporated 2 restaurants, a screening room, meeting rooms, two bars and a lounge and a central lobby. Construction documents and bidding were completed January 2008. The project remains unfinished.
