Disney Quest Armillary Chair and Settee

Jordan Mozer and Associates, Limited was commissioned by Walt Disney Imagineering to design the DisneyQuest Projects in Orlando, Florida and Chicago, Illinois.
 
The designs of the seating and the associated interior architecture were inspired by ancient navigation devices, including astrolabes and armillary spheres.
 
DisneyQuest was a first-generation digital entertainment center of about 100,000 square feet. Jordan Mozer and Associates, Limited prepared architectural, interior and associated product design for the building shell, public spaces, restaurants and a variety of entertainment venues.
 
The Armillary seating has a cast magnesium-aluminum frame which was hand carved in maple, cast in 94% recycled metal and hand polished. It was made in Chicago
