Collaborating with Richard Melman of Lettuce Entertain You to create new restaurant prototypes for McDonalds CEO Jim Cantalupo. 

JMA’s initial design research addressed the history of the chain, the original value proposition,  and the current state of the company. 

Lettuce Entertain You developed healthy food options and service concepts. JMA’s efforts included both functional and aesthetic design research. 

JMA developed technical concepts to streamline and enhance service as well as messaging. Architectural designs extrapolated internal and popular McDonalds mythology. Designs reduced maintenance and centralized aspects of the operations, adding value and refinement of the business. The designs simplified and enhanced customer experience. 

When Mr. Cantalupo passed away suddenly JMA and Lettuce Entertain You partnered to create a new proprietary concept extrapolated from the McDonald’s research, Wow Bao.
