Jordan Mozer & Associates provided architectural and product design services for the historic English luxury retailer, Asprey & Company, for seventeen years, completing projects in some of the world’s most renowned shopping districts: its flagship on New Bond Street in London and a boutique on Madison Avenue in New York. JMA also produced designs for a 5th Avenue location in New York and another in a luxury hotel in Dubai.
JMA’s designs for Asprey’s Mayfair flagship in London were a modern update on the classic New Bond storefront, but one with a sense of reverence for the luxury retailer’s rich legacy — 236 years of royal service earned the house a Royal Warrant for jewelry and silver; issued by His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales.
JMA began working in 1998 on plans to update the 55,000 square foot New Bond Street location in a fashion befitting such a timeless brand. Renovations were completed in 2000.
Asprey is a luxury goods retailer
founded in 1781. Their headquarters have been on New Bond Street, in London’s Mayfair district, since 1847. Asprey has held royal warrants to create crowns, silver and leather goods for the English royal family.
JMA began working on plans to modernize the 55,000 square foot New Bond Street building in 1998 when in was occupied by
Asprey and Garrard.
JMA has completed designs for both
Asprey and Garrard on Madison Avenue in New York, on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills and on New Bond Street in London. JMA provided all design services including product designer and manufacturers / shop fitters for the projects.
In 2009 Jordan Mozer and Associates, Limited completed renovation to the New Bond Street store. Jordan Mozer Studios LLC provided custom millwork for the project.
Eight years later, JMA completed renovations on Asprey’s two-story, 12,000 square foot Madison Avenue store in New York City. The project included new lighting, finishes and extensive display design, including new jewelry display millwork. It was at this time that Asprey & Co. invited JMA to return to New Bond Street to create a new set of display cases.
Like Asprey, which unites fine jewelers, smiths, tanners and other artisans under one brand, JMA supplied services for our client ranging from design and manufacture of display fixtures, lighting and furnishings, to the custom millwork found throughout Asprey’s interior retail spaces.
