Eliza’s Bright Little Question was inspired by the insistent questions of the artist’s curious first child. It was originally created for Herzblut, a club on the Reeperbahn in Hamburg, Germany in 2002. "Herzblut" translates directly as "heart-blood" but means "passion". The project is located near the 1,000-year-old Hamburg Harbor, the red-light district where the Beatles played in the early 1960's. This version of the Eliza Series was also used at the Times Square hotel renovation in New York City.
