The Americas Felt Chinchilla, was created for the Americas River Oaks restaurant in Houston Texas.
The restaurant combines traditional pan-south American recipes with ingredients indigenous to the Americas using European preparation techniques. This artwork represents the new world.
PROCESS + MATERIALS
The chinchilla and its background where waterjet cut out of 1/8” thick wool felt, and placed on a backerboard.
