Twig Face Coat Rack

The Twig Face Coat Rack was originally created as drapery columns for Steve Wynn's Nectar Restaurant at the Bellagio Resort Hotel in Las Vegas. 

Made in Chicago, 1997/2014.   The base and the top castings were cast in recycled magnesium aluminum from hand carved maple forms. The metals were hand polished and then rubbed with acid to create a dark patina. The column is solid turned American mahogany.  From an edition of four pieces created in 2014, it is distinguished from the originals by a third "branch" and a natural oiled mahogany finish.
