Twig Dining Chair

The original Twig Dining Chair was commissioned by Steve Wynn for Nectar Restaurant in the Bellagio Resort Hotel in Las Vegas. This variation of the original chair was created for the artist's residence and is from an edition of 2 in this leather.

Nectar Restaurant was a walk-in fantasy inspired by use of raw natural materials in indigenous, pre-Columbian southwestern architecture and design.

Made in Chicago, 1997/2014. Exoskeleton; was carved in maple, cast in recycled magnesium-aluminum alloy, hand polished and then hand rubbed with acid to patina.  Upholstery; Leather.
