This sculpture depicts a chord in a synesthetic interpretation of a Charlie Parker tune.
The form was influenced by the flexible thumbs of their sculptor.
At the artist’s residence, they are used as napkin rings.
PROCESS + MATERIALS
Hand-carved in maple and cast in recycled metal alloys, then completed by hand in a variety of finishes. Made in Chicago.
