JMA converted the approximately 2500 sq. ft. 3 bedroom loft into 2 bedrooms w/large open artist studio. The project included new kitchen, new bamboo floors , limestone baseboards, new millwork throughout, furniture, window treatments and other objects and furnishings.
JMA worked with owner to select all furniture, art and objects (including towels, bedding and all kitchen supplies). JMA developed furniture plans and introduced the owner to collecting 20th C design, procuring from galleries, auction houses and private dealers. Pieces range from 12th and 16th c Burmese artifacts to early 20th c Arts & Crafts furniture and ceramics, mid-century furniture and glass and contemporary Christian Liaigre sofa and Tibetan rugs.
