Originally created for Cairo 720, an industrial art deco jazz club and a labyrinthine subterranean dance club that meandered below the sidewalks. The stool is inspired by the Ankh earrings of the owner’s girlfriend. The bar itself, appropriately, was a three-dimensional interpretation of the ancient Egyptian hieroglyph for liquids.
