Dolly ‘Sheep’ Lounge Chair
The Dolly lounge chair was commissioned by art collectors in Seoul, Korea for their Paradise City development.
The Dolly chairs were inspired by the thick forms of sheep with heavy wool coats.
PROCESS + MATERIALS
Hand-carved sculptures were cast in recycled aluminum-magnesium alloy, hand-worked and then burnished. In this version, the irregular finish of the raw castings were slightly refined and then preserved. Bathed in elixirs for a dark patina. Shearling upholstery. Made in Chicago.
