The Victory Love Seat was designed for Victory, a restaurant in the Meadowlands inspired by a mid century battleship. Victory’s walls are clad in hot-rolled steel plates, and the room is detailed with die cast components.
PROCESS + MATERIALS
Made in Chicago. The frame for the Victory Love seat was hand carved in a plaster composite and then transcribed into a digital model which was used to computer mill molds. The legs and brackets were cast in a 90% recycled aluminum-magnesium alloy in Chicago and then burnished with steel shot. The elements were then hand welded using a custom armature. The Victory Love Seat is upholstered in wool Limousine fabric.
THE STORY

Mozer studios LLC handcrafts all of their small batch products. They are never mass produced. We invite our patrons to embrace the nuanced irregularities of form, surface and finish as evidence of that handwork, defining each piece as one of a kind.
