Truffula Table

The Truffula Tables are a collection of unique tables employing Mozer’s Truffula sculpture as a base.

PROCESS + MATERIALS

The Truffula Table base was hand-carved, digitally scanned, manipulated and then cast in recycled magnesium-aluminum alloy. In these photos, the castings have been burnished and treated with elixirs to patina the fresh metal.

Most of the Truffula Table tops have been harvested from a private forest in Michigan and dried in a solar kiln. Hand rubbed wax finish.
